Kiwi Engine

Busy thinking no blip as hadn't been outside all day then I heard the train whistling for the last run of the day. Into the car and off to the railway, this dear little engine was built in 1878 in Scotland. Every Easter we used to have Thomas the Tank Engine and friends  until that franchise put the prices up for using that brand name so much that is was no longer viable.
Then along came Kiwi ingenuity, a local woman wrote a children's book called Kiwi and friend. It features all native animals and birds, a great innovation. Now every Easter a dressed up Kiwi stands on the station and hands out Easter eggs for the children and they come in their droves and ride the train At the moment our big steam engine is in dock and has been for a number of months. We own a diesel and this one and our Model T Rail Car which is the only one in the world and they keep the railway going.
Do hope you have all had a good safe and happy Easter.
