Claremont Railway Station was built in 1886 to service the main area between Perth and Fremantle.

These enlarged Billboard posters contain photographs from days gone by. The first is of a steam train leaving for Perth in 1955, the secondof crowds assembling in 1978 when the line was reopened after a premature closing.

The council has embraced Street Art and this style of poster is now along quite a lot of the railway Station.
