Life in Newburgh on Ythan

The Zenith

This small, very small,  boat although registered in Peterhead is currently hauled out at the harbour of Port Errol at Cruden Bay. The vertical poles in the background were used to dry the nets in the days when there was an active salmon netting fishery at Cruden Bay.

It was warm and sunny today here in the frozen  North, while Storm Katie was wreaking havoc in the balmy  South of England.
