A pub with a view.

Passed a very pleasant afternoon, with an ex-pupil, now a friend, in The Redhouse, Newcastle. A pint or two, (or three, but who's counting?) and a wee dram to finish, oiled the conversational wheels most effectively. Although I had the pleasure of teaching him maths for five years, and he is now a maths teacher himself, (something for which his mother still blames me, I fear!) neither maths, nor teaching, made the list of discussion topics.

If you look closely, you can see record breaking kittiwakes in this shot, but I think it would be stretching things a little to claim this as 30/50. However,  I know where to find them. :o)
