Royal Garrison Church, Old Portsmouth

Over the years I've taken lots of photos of this shell of a church but never made a note of the history, today I did and this is it:
The church was originally part of a hospital founded in 1212 by the Bishop of Winchester.   The nave housed the sick while the chapel served as the hospital's chapel.   The building later served as part of the Governor of Portsmouth's residence before being restored in the 1860's.   Although the nave was badly damaged in a 1941 fire raid on Portsmouth, the chancel remains roofed and finished.
