Head On

I came across this praying mantis when I was stalking a bumblebee. It was within 40cms of my eyes and I nearly missed it. Earlier this morning I found the one I’ve been blipping over the last couple of weeks. As I suspected it had moved to a nearby bush, higher up, safe from the lizards. The sight of it made me smile. I’d be able to pick that individual from any other adult mantis.
