Tiny shells

These tiny shells were collected on our last visit to a seashore. The part of a £1 coin in the picture should give some idea of size. They are beautiful to the naked eye but under the macro lens become extraordinary.
The lens is again the Tamron 90mm, f/2.5 used for yesterday's portrait. In its day it was known as a superb portrait lens but, unusually, it is a great macro lens too, giving half size images on a 35mm negative. However, it also has a dedicated 2x adapter, used for this shot, which gives same size images on a 35mm neg.
