Otter Sculpture, Water of Leith, Dean Bridge

I last blipped this in 2013. Its been hidden for most of the winter due to the high rainfall in December and January.

I was commissioned by the old Water of Leith Walkway Trust before responsibilities were handed over to the Water of Leith Conservation Trust.

It was created by Edinburgh sculptor Stan Wilson. He also produced a duck sculpture at St. Bernards Well, but that does not seem to be there anymore.
