Cross country jumping

A long day up at Burgham today. I spent most of the day down at the cross country and walked the course once. The variety of jumps was great and it was obvious that a lot of planning had gone into the whole event. This jump was right up at the top of a meadow and I am so chuffed at how the photos turned out from this jump! Considering that we had so much rainfall during the week and that on Thursday it was touch and go as to whether it was even going to run, I was amazed at the quality of the ground and how well it had held up. However, I did see a girl come off her horse at one jump and later found out that she broke her FEMA in 4 places and has had to have an operation! Ouch!
