Well, following my disappointment of the discovery that most of my plants on the allotment have been eaten by creepy crawlies, this morning I discovered a caterpillar weaving its silky cocoon on one of my Aubergine leaves.
I have no idea how the caterpillar got up here to the 6th floor or if this is the monster who'd been leaving numerous holes in my pak choi at the other end of the terrace, but have decided to leave it where it is and wait to see if a butterfly emerges.
