Weathercock opportunity

Quite some time ago the Weathercock on the village church fell off his perch.
Early this morning we held auditions for his replacement. First up was a Herring Gull. Waiting in the wings for his moment of glory was a Jackdaw.
They were both pretty useless and so the hunt goes on. We rather hope that we might headhunt a Golden Pheasant for the post.
