Hubby's day off today ....... we decided to take some bits to the local recycling centre before going to the supermarket ..... make one trip of it ...... that was a mistake ...... we arrived there at 4pm only to find that it closes at that time! If we had realised we would have left home earlier ...... so the stuff is sitting in the boot awaiting another chance! Best laid plans & all that!

This was the view from the window when we returned from shopping ....... it had a decidedly ominous look to it ...... I guess we at least got the timing right then!
