Tavistock

We took advantage of the best day Since Good Friday  for a jaunt across the Moor to Tavistock an ancient Devon town where the recorded history dates to before 961. The Town Hall, above,  in the town centre dates from the 1860's.
The market was granted a Royal Charter in 1105 and a busy Pannier Market is still in existence. Inside and outside of the Market Hall are
included in the collage.
