Macro

When I parted with the Canon 7D I was left with a 60mm macro lens which I loved, but couldn't use on the new full-frame 5D Mk3. (The recipient already had her own 60mm.) However it came in handy today on the 400D for this shot!

Today I treated myself to the Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro lens. I'd read good reports and results of comparison tests where it came out top of the reviewed macros which included the Canon 100mm f2.8 L macro.

I'm looking forward to trying it out on flowers at the weekend and studio portraits next week!
