A home for a mouse?

I learn a new thing almost everyday down in London town and today it it was linked to the picture above. 

These are beside the steps of all the houses that previously were homes to rich people and were used for wiping mud from their shoes before they entered. 

On a positive note, I'm just waiting for one thing to upload and then the bulk of university is over for 3rd year! (It's flown in!)
