Atlantic Crossing

Clachan bridge built 1792 connects mainland Argyll with the island of Seil, because Clachan sound connects at both ends by the Atlantic Ocean it is known as the Bridge over the Atlantic.

The span is very high, approx 40 feet to allow the passage of vessels ( with masts) at high tide.
