Where's the path gone?

It all started so well, a gentle cycle through the speyside countryside to Loch an Eilean. Then someone allowed Mr Murmuration to pick the route and we ended up lost somewhere along the river Spey. This photo was taken as youngest son watched his father go off in search of a path with the words 'I may be gone for sometime...'
