Three Fools since 2003

These flats in Halifax empty since asbestos found in them in 2003.The three nineteen-storey H-plan tower blocks built as public housing. Each block contains 107 dwellings, consisting of 3 bed-sits, 102 one-bedroom flats, 1 two-bedroom flat and 1 three-bedroom flat, making 321 dwellings in total. The blocks were designed by the Borough Architect. Construction was approved by committee in 1969.
Because of asbestos, it is expected to cost 1 million to dismantle each of the towers.Housing shortage ?
