Campus Light

I quite like arriving at work well before I need to start the working day, as I can take some time out and wander around the campus before the students get up.

It's a lovely green campus, with an award winning Japanese inspired garden and a great pond. The pond area has suffered from several floods over the last few months, but I'm sure it will recover and we'll get our resident moorhens nesting soon.

We even have a resident rabbit population with a rogue black rabbit. It's either a mutation, or an escapee, but seems part of the local gang. As yet I've not managed a decent shot of it as it runs away as I get close to it.

We went to Stafford to see Gordon Buchanan, the wildlife film maker, tonight.
