Earrings

The post this morning brought me a card and present from one of the nicest and kindest of my ex-colleagues. Because she works from the Birmingham office I didn't get to see her as often as I would have liked but any time I did it was such a pleasure. She made these earrings for me and they are just the sort of jewellery I like to wear. I was so touched by the kind words she sent and by such a thoughtful handmade gift. I also think it's very clever and talented to be able to make something so delicate. I'll definitely be wearing them tonight.
