Life through my eyes

Cheeky little monkeys!

A great day but quite tiring.  These two little monkeys are growing fast.  We meet them for breakfast at The Lockside and spent some time with EM on a Phonics book we bought for £1.49 in Aldi.  She did brilliantly, even surprising her Mum!

Then off to Tyntesfield House, and a meander down from the car park (EM, Dad and Uncle David watched a play but the man scared L) to the play area before getting the bus back up.  L was most upset not to get the bus on the way down but was soon distracted with a pine cone hunt amongst other things.  For just two she is full of surprises.  Very good speech and full of "what is that?" and "why?".  She did amazingly well on the stepping stones and balance beams.

Sorry Mum, couldn't resist the one of you with your hands full, and sandals!!!

It was nice to come back home to peace and quiet.  Did we really agree to look after EM for a few days in the school holidays??!!!  Seriously it will be great to have her, but we''' appreciate the peace afterwards!
