Keith

We had a leaving do for Keith this evening.

He actually retired just before Xmas, but that's not a good time to ask people to spend a lot of money, so his "do" was put off until today.

An excellent meal, followed by remarkably brief speeches.  Keith is not known for his brevity (he would be the first to admit he can "talk the hind leg off a donkey"), and one of the nurses ran a sweepstake on the duration of his speech.  Keith has been spending some of his time since retirement writing, and brought along some printed anecdotes.
