One of my closest friends turns 40 on Monday and this evening we celebrated her. I made one last cake... and now I'm definitely on a cake break. She told me she'd never had such beautiful cake made for her and that made me so happy! :) This one had just 3 layers and 2 fillings. One filling was with mashed raspberry with a pinch of added sugar and the other was a lemon butter cream. The cake was then covered in the lemon butter cream and on topp of that the white fondant. All decorations are made of marzipan. And the cake itself has lemon zest and juice in it and was really fresh and moist.
P is still in his rose. I've been told to be patient and I'm practicing that...
