Last Chance To See

One of the best things about this village [This pair of villages] is the pub. Not because it's a pub, but because it is a hub at which you can meet your mates, play pool and, yes have a pint of local real ale!

Jem and Kathy have run the pub as long as we have lived here. Lovely people, friendly and interesting. Now they are leaving and handing the reins to young people. Tonight is their farewell party.

There's about a thousand people in the little pub, plus a band with dry ice and faux saxophone. We ran away because the heat was unbearable and we couldn't hear Maurice. I don't think anyone will notice.
