Friends for Dinner

Our friends C and L came round for dinner and a movie tonight - I had some Cauliflower and Parsnip soup that I had made (see yesterday's blip) and then got to make my 2nd Kitchen Passport meal - a series of 6 meals sent in the mail which come from different countries.  Our son Jo bought me this as a Christmas present.  The current meal was an Irish Stew, which I accompanied with Van Morrison and the Chieftains as musical theme music and then made floating islands for dessert.  Very enjoyable evening.
