The First Day of Market

Today was opening day of our local farmer's market and it seemed the whole town was out for the event. Despite being relatively early in the season, there was plenty of fresh vegetables and produce, honey, cheeses, chocolates, grass-fed beef, food vendors, (I indulged in a delicious bowl of split-pea soup) and a broad assortment of craftspeople selling their wares.

Animals as Natural Therapy had a booth in the street complete with adorable bunnies and these two mop-topped miniature ponies, busy munching away on their lunch.
