Rainy day blossom

It was a dreich day.
The cherry tree at the front of the house is just starting to blossom which is lovely and cheering.
We went for a wee drive in the rain down through Glen Fruin and stopped where we had a good view of the water through the rainy car windows. We took a flask with us and I felt like a character in one of Alan Bennett's stories clutching my cup of cocoa and staring at the rain - see my extra. No good photos today sadly!
