Catterline

One to tick off my bucket list. On our way up to the Orkneys, my main reason for wanting to take the coastal route - other than the obvious, was to see Catterline. This seemingly humble but stunning bay was frequented by one of my art heroes, Joan Eardley.
When not painting in Glascow this was her escape... imho - she did her best work here. Lemme see if I can link you someplace useful below...
