early birthday surprise

Early birthday surprise trip to New Lanark with friends and family (you could even call it a blip meet). Early start with posh motor. Initially the weather didn't look too promising but it turned out rather fine. We explored some of the inside exhibitions and went for a lovely walk along the Clyde past the Falls of Clyde and the Bonnington Iron Bridge (see extra). New Lanark was on our list of places to visit for ages so I was really chuffed to have finally made it. More pics on flickr.

We will certainly go back there.
