Be careful

At this time of year I have to be careful when pulling stray "grass" out of the borders as the Snakes Head Fritillary plants  look so much like grass until the flowers pop out.
After a couple of  duvet days I ventured out for a bit of air and to see how the spawn was doing. On my way back to the house I came across this pure white Fritillary amongst the Tulip leaves. It is the only one out so far.
The spawn is just about hatched in the pond, wonder how long I can keep the tadpoles this year, before something eats them.
