Slim pickings

I'm learning with this new job that it's either all - where I am located in beautiful Calder valley splendour - or nothing - an industrial conurbation of nothing!

Today was the latter but trying to keep up my promise to myself I've just taken this in the setting of the evening sky in our garden. It's that quiet time, just before dusk when the birds do their final song for the evening before fallen silent (I imagine they put their heads under their wings). I like this time of the evening very much.
