The Camera Never Lies

Tonight I stopped the car for the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen.

It wasn't a rainbow proper, more a square of refracted colour, a momentary masterpiece splashed across the sky.

My camera and I seem to have different recollections though. It looked nothing like this. The camera clearly does lie.

In other news I've been told my slipped disc will be operated on, after which I might just be able to put the last six months' pain behind me. Rainbow coloured news indeed.
