Unfurling Beauty

Our son Duncan is a keen gardener. He gave us some dahlia tubers. They sat in a box in the garage for months. Eventually I got around to planting them. I thought they would come to nothing but whoosh...they grew like weeds. They are all the same peachy pink colour and are still flowering. I was intrigued with the detail in this flower as it gradually unfurls to show off its full beauty.
