Tiny Tuesday: Acer

While most of our acer is still in bud, these two leaves are just about unfurled. I was trying to act on the latest A Year With My Camera tutorial's advice about visual weight; not sure if the background colours divert attention too much from the subject.

With my regular golfing partners Henri and Phil both away today, I was glad that our other occasional partners, Russell and Paul, had emerged from their winter golfing hibernation to join me for this morning's round.
