Beachy Head

Today I resumed my bike training and went out for another foray with Ian. We did a 38 mile tour of the area which included a fair bit (for me) of climbing, looming large amongst which was Beachy Head. The picture is me flogging up what seems like the last part of the climb, but alas it's a false horizon - there was plenty left. I had to delve deep into the 'suitcase of stamina' in order to reach the top. Today, I ventured for the first time into the murky world of energy gels. Salted caramel flavour - is that a banned substance??
