Sandy mouth Bay

We took advantage of the sunny weather today and headed off with friends to Sandymouth Bay. We had planned a circular walk towards Duckpool and Coombe Valley but couldn't resist spending some time on the beach first at Sandy mouth Bay. The rocky outcrops with several waterfalls onto the beach are very attractive and make a great place for children to play. When the tide is out the beach is a mile long, so not surprisingly several families were already enjoying themselves.

A great walk with hills, sea views, a wooded valley and lots of sheep and lambs. In a penned area a couple of sheep had recently given birth with very cute lambs beside them.
