Porthcothan beach

We got up this morning and the weather was......not very good!!!!!!!

J and C decided they wanted to go surfing so we all trailed to Harlyn where it was so misty and horrible that we all decided to take Nellie for a walk instead. Dejectedly we tried to decide where. We tried the path at Bedruthan but it was so misty you couldn't see your hand in front of you....we would have lost the dog!!

Then we stopped at Porthcothan thinking she could at least have a wee run.

It turned out to be a fantastic walk!!! The waves were amazing....the rain went off for the whole duration of the walk.......there were lots of amazing caves and rocks to explore and believe it or not with these waves there were a hardy few body boarding!!!!

After a gorgeous lunch at the local farm shop we are on track for a perfect day. Who knows....maybe a wee saunter to the pub tonight for the odd G&T!!!
