Where the Light Gets In

neither was quite safe

The refurbishing works in the patio of my office building have been going on for six months now. They had to strip the alley of its concrete floor, put in a layer of water tight fabric, pour cement, put in beautiful small cobblestones and now they're working on the walls, stripping them of their stucco covering to reveal the wooden panels beneath. The finished work should be amazing!

The job interview Julie had on 26 March didn't come to fruition; she received an email last night telling her she would not have a second stage interview. She was initially disappointed, of course, but she is now quite ready to go hunting again!

We were supposed to have dinner with an American friend tonight but she messaged to say she couldn't make it because of work. We postponed to Friday. Not a problem - even less so because we didn't have much sleep last night and I'll be quite content to go back home when I'm done with work!

A set for today.
And one for yesterday.
