Spring pea

I think this is my favourite plant family, but probably said that before about at least one other genus (I'm a bit promiscuous when it comes to flowers!). This Spring pea (Lathyrus vernus) has just come into flower and, despite being quite small and delicate, is the current star of the garden. Still a young and tender plant (to slugs, at least!) I hope it will form a nice clump with lots of flowers each spring.
