The New Room

C's Easter homework was to take a photo, or make a poster about a Bristol landmark.

So today armed with 2 compacts and 1 DSLR we headed into town.

Temple Meads, St Mary Redcliffe, St Nicholas's Market, and John Wesley's New Room.

The photo is from the new room.

The chapel has no windows in the ground floor but this excellent lantern window let light into both the ground and first floors.

Built in 1739 by John Wesley it is the oldest Methodist Chapel in the world.

It also makes a good photo :)
