Creamy watercress soup

Swam in an unheated pool today. I was the only person in it, even though the sun did shine (albeit wanly).

The watercress in my fridge was calling out to me when I got back. I didn't want a salad, so soup it was. A bit of garlic, some chilli, lemon juice, half an avocado, and cress went into this.

Am pepped up with its pepperyness. Or, could it be the cold water effect?
