Disinfect

Sorry it's been a few days since s Riley update, but I will be posting a few back blips.

So.... 3 days of poo samples and last night we got a call from the vets... issue no.1 he has a parasite called giardia. To put it bluntly it's a bitch to get rid of and after his final medicine we will have to steam clean and disinfect everything, plus ban him from the grass for about 2 months!

Today the vets called again, he's also got issue no.2 campylobacter jejuni which after research is often seen with issue no.1.

These are both infectious and can be transmitted to humans! We are waiting on further results from the poo samples :-(

We do love him to bits though and with medicine and hard work will do everything we can to make him better. He's well in himself and bounding around, just hoping the medicine for issue no.2 doesn't make him unwell as it could possibly do.
