The tale of the lost key.

A fleeting visit to the capital today.... Well that's what I thought. A morning meeting and lunch then jumped back on the train - Glasgow bound around 2.30pm, only to discover that the mothership had lost her car key. A panicked mental retracing of steps narrowed it down to one location, who were promptly phoned as we were speeding back west bound. Keys located and safe... Cue me jumping off the train at Fauldhouse followed by a tedious wait of 40 minutes for a train to return to Edinburgh to collect, while mum made her way back to Glasgow. Back in Edinburgh, I decided on a whim to climb the Scott monument. On another day spectacular views, but today was wet and breezy. This beautiful door is in the museum area of the first floor. Home around 9pm, way later than expected.
