Mr. Cooper

We have a nesting pair of Cooper's Hawks in a tree in the yard behind ours.  With my binoculars I can see one of them (I assume the female) sitting in the nest but I don't have a clear shot for a photo.  In the mornings she squawks until Mr. Cooper here goes out hunting.  One of his favorite lookouts is in our Elm tree so we see him almost every day.  I know he has to eat and will soon have a family to feed so I'm trying not to think about our smaller birds being his meal of choice.  :-/
