It's a family thing...

The outlaws visited today...  this time it was Dave's big brother and his missus...  Always great to see them,  and I'm pleased to say that it took only minutes before they found themselves dressed in the customary witchy attire and dancing to the tune of our small but fierce dictator...

(We've decided that we're going to start a special kind of guestbook, where anyone who visits will have their picture taken dressed in a witches hat...I have a surprisingly full collection of these pictures so far )

It's lovely to see how our family has responded to little un... they're all enchanted by her and she's been so fully and whole heartedly claimed by them, that she couldn't possibly belong anywhere else...

Really nice getting to catch up, and to finish the week on a high note... it's been full of ups and downs this week... with delight and moments of utter loveliness... such as Little un going to a friend's birthday party for the first time... scooting around with super speed and confidence...chilling at home and giggling over games and songs... this has then been followed by tantrums, turmoil and tiredness and all of it has taken place against a backdrop of poo and potties... however I  have managed to retain my sanity and sense of humour with assistance form Dave, and the Crumblies... and I also think potty training is going well... there's  still work to do but I think Little un is starting to get it and is doing really well, so I'm very proud of her... Overall it's been a good week.
