Muddy water

It's been a long day! Shattered after the weekend. I had the school runs to do and Monday is swimming lesson night. We'd just got inside the sports centre when the heavens opened and the storm started.

By the time we came out it was sunny again and all seemed fine. It wasn't until Charlotte was in the shower and I looked out of the window that I realised we had a problem. The drainage in the back garden is never good but there was muddy water everywhere. Further investigation told us that the water was running off a field, across a private road and into the gardens.
