Shetland Day 11
A cold, wet, windy night, although it did improve as the night went on.
We went to church at Lerwick Baptist and then packed up in the wet - though about an hour later the rain had stopped!
Then we returned to the museum as there was a lot we hadn't seen the day before, and enjoyed tea and cakes in the cafe.
It still wasn't time for the ferry and the rain had stopped so we explored a bit more around the harbour and watched some filming for a TV drama which involved Roman soldiers, I think there had been Vikings earlier.
We thought the sail back to Aberdeen would be rough because of all the wind but the wind had been in the right direction to blow us back so it wasw fine and we were home by 8.30am.
We had a great holiday despite the iffy weather (better before and now I gather) and plan to return before too long
