The Colosseum, Rome

Back blip

Another place on the bucket list, and it didn't disappoint. We even saw a cat asleep well out of the way of the public - so wild beasts are not entirely banished from the Colosseum these days!!

During the day we also visited the Trevi fountain (so many people, so many selfie sticks!), Trajan's column and the forum, the Victor Emmanuelle monument, and a basilica with a statue of an elephant outside.

Tired feet and legs by the end!
