Gore Glen bing

I love walking in the gloaming, especially if the wind has died down and it is not raining. Gore Glen is reclaimed from mining, landscaped I think in the 1970s.
"A spoil tip (also called a spoil bank, boney pile, gob pile, bing, batch, boney dump or pit heap) is a pile built of accumulated spoil - the overburden or other waste rock removed during coal and ore mining " Wikipedia.
The hill is the bing, with a notice at the blocked off path at its base, that it is burning.
A Google search for Bing was exclusively for the search engine Bing, had to search with mining to get the above quote.
