Conference day (and an early wake up call!)

Had a really good day today out at Watch Your Language Conference organised by City Lit and even managed to pick up some more International Sign.
Interesting conversations and topics were apparent throughout the day and I came away with the feeling that placement set me up very well for this conference with the high volume of British Sign Language (BSL) 2nd language users. The workshops were useful and the International Sign one in particular required concentration which is a big ask when you're still a student and of a completely different language!
